Shea Butter

Shea butter is a natural fat extracted from the nuts of the African shea tree. It has been used for centuries in Africa for its moisturizing and healing properties. Shea butter is rich in vitamins A, E, and F, as well as essential fatty acids, which contribute to its ability to hydrate and nourish the skin.

Cocoa Butter

Cocoa butter, also known as Theobroma oil, is a natural fat extracted from cocoa beans, which are the seeds of the cocoa tree. Cocoa butter is rich in fatty acids, particularly oleic acid, palmitic acid, and stearic acid. These fatty acids help to create a protective barrier on the skin’s surface, locking in moisture and preventing water loss. This deep hydration can help to nourish dry and dehydrated skin, leaving it soft and supple.

Silk is obtained from the cocoons of the larvae of the mulberry silkworm. Silk has been prized for centuries for its luxurious feel and numerous beneficial properties for the skin. It has natural moisture-wicking properties, meaning it can absorb moisture from the skin without leaving it feeling damp. This helps to keep the skin hydrated and comfortable

Calendula, also known as marigold, is a flowering plant that belongs to the daisy family. It has been used for centuries in traditional medicine for its medicinal properties, particularly in skincare. Calendula extract is derived from the bright orange or yellow flowers of the Calendula officinalis plant. Calendula contains mucilage, a natural substance that helps to retain moisture and hydrate the skin. This makes calendula beneficial for dry, rough, or dehydrated skin, helping to improve its texture and elasticity.

This lovely hand cream softens beaitifuuly without leaving greasy residue like so man my other hand creams. It leaves hands feeling soft and holds moisture in throughout the day. It also rescued my teenager’s chapped hands and wrists. (She’s an artist and must wash her hands many, many times a day.)

  2. Katelin Hollenkamp

I’m very particular when it comes to hand cream and this one is hands down the best one I’ve tried. It leaves my hands feeling hydrated, soft and nourished and its non-greasy formula is what really sets it apart from the rest.
